Resume#
I work as a transmission engineer and am familiar with the planning, design, construction, project management, and closeout of power line projects. My work has given me experience with both the theoretical and practical aspects of design, including the use of PLS-CADD and internal tools for Enterprise Resource Management (ERM), such as SAP.
Before this role, I worked in the Toll Division of the Washington State Department of Transportation, focusing on Intelligent Transportation System (ITS) project delivery. I am proud to have contributed to the tolling components of significant mega-projects, including the I-405 Express Toll Lanes, SR 167 Continuous Access, SR 520 Floating Bridge and Landing, and the SR 99 tunnel. At the Toll Division, I was promoted to an operations management role, where I supervised a team, streamlined reporting and data management tasks, and oversaw contracts with external vendors and internal stakeholders.
My passion for data management led me to pursue further education in computer science. I enrolled in courses at a local community college and applied to their software development degree program. Through this program, I have gained valuable skills that have allowed me to improve my information management skills and apply my technical knowledge in a practical way.
I enjoy discussing my career choices, esoteric engineering topics, photography, technology, and what I would have done differently. If you would like to engage in a conversation about any of these topics or others, please feel free to reach out.
